About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Workplace Health and Safety Professional to join our team at Rest. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for our employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement health and wellbeing initiatives and programs to support the physical and mental health of our employees.
  • Maintain compliance with relevant workplace health and safety legislation and regulations.
  • Collaborate with leaders and employees to identify and mitigate risks to health and safety.
  • Conduct regular health and wellbeing audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on health and safety matters and ensure compliance with Rest's policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive health and wellbeing framework to support the organization's strategic objectives.
  • Monitor and report on health and wellbeing metrics to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (or equivalent)
  • Return to Work certification (desirable)
  • Proven experience in implementing health and wellbeing initiatives and programs
  • Strong understanding of workplace health and safety legislation and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
