About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Health and Safety Professional to join our team at the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA). As a key member of our People and Culture team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing health and wellbeing strategies that align with regulatory requirements and APRA's goals.

As a Strategic Health and Safety Professional, you will be responsible for ensuring APRA's adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, codes of practice, and standards. You will provide expert guidance on health, safety, and wellbeing issues, analyze data to detect trends and emerging risks, and develop proactive strategies to mitigate these risks.

About You
  • You have extensive experience in a WHS consultant or advisory role, with a strong understanding of claims management and WHS legislation.
  • You have demonstrated skills and experience in leading the development and implementation of WHS strategies, programs, and initiatives.
  • You are a forward planner with the ability to dive into detail to derive key insights from business reporting, as well as scan the horizon for emerging opportunities.
  • You hold a tertiary qualification in Health Science, Human Resources, or a related discipline.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is $120,000 - $160,000 per annum, plus superannuation and other benefits. We offer a range of benefits, including professional development opportunities, flexible working arrangements, and a supportive and inclusive work environment.
