Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled specialist to analyse and develop configuration solutions that meet business needs. The successful candidate will thrive on solving complex problems, translating requirements into smart, efficient system solutions, and working closely with both business and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and design effective configuration solutions.
  • Create, test, and document configuration changes across core systems, web platforms, and related applications.
  • Develop detailed configuration specifications where necessary.
  • Ensure configuration solution design meets business requirements and is understood by all relevant teams.
  • Support development, testing, and BA teams throughout the full software development life cycle process.
  • Apply SQL and systems knowledge to deliver robust outcomes.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement effective solutions.
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of experience in business analysis or administration, preferably in superannuation and/or insurance.
  • Hands-on experience with registry systems and related applications.
  • Working knowledge of SQL, Java, Oracle, and proficiency in navigating SDLC processes.
  • Strong communication skills to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • A proactive mindset with a knack for identifying process improvements.
  • Sound understanding of IT application and system design best practices.
  • Experience working in an outsourced or offshored environment.
