About This Role

As a seasoned professional, you will play a key part in developing and implementing innovative solutions for water and wastewater assets. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping the future of our infrastructure.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Design Specifications

    You will participate in creating functional design specifications for various water and wastewater assets. Your input will help ensure that these specifications meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

  • SCADA Configuration

    Assist in designing, developing, and reviewing SCADA configuration and RTU/PLC software to optimize system performance and efficiency.

  • Control Systems

    Develop and test PLC programs for control systems, including delivery valve control and wastewater pumping stations. Your attention to detail will be crucial in ensuring seamless operation.

  • Remote Commissioning

    Support Field Commissioning Engineers remotely and review SOC alarms to identify areas for improvement.

  • Software Support

    Maintain and enhance existing software applications and libraries for RTU/PLC installations. Your ability to troubleshoot complex issues will be invaluable.

  • Change Management

    Utilize integrated change management systems and software control systems to streamline processes and improve productivity.

  • Procedure Development

    Prepare procedures for software, configuration, integration testing, and commissioning of assets. Your organizational skills will help keep projects on track.

  • Technical Support

    Respond to technical inquiries and provide system fault diagnosis and rectification to ensure minimal downtime.

Qualifications and Requirements

A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is required. You must also have experience in design, operation, and maintenance of process control, SCADA, and telemetry systems. Strong communication skills, both written and oral, are essential for success in this role.

Knowledge of telemetry communication networks (LAN and WAN) and protocols like Modbus and DNP3 will be beneficial. We are looking for a motivated individual who is eager to contribute to our team and drive innovation forward.
