Operations Coordinator

About the Role
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for scheduling charter work and coordinating the day-to-day operations of drivers and vehicles. This role requires a high level of organization and attention to detail, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to drivers and other stakeholders, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Schedule charter work and route services based on customer requirements, ensuring timely execution and high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Monitor daily charter allocations and vehicle movements to identify potential service failures and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with the team to resolve operational shortfalls caused by delays, incidents, or breakdowns, ensuring minimal disruption to services.
- Roster drivers based on their competency and availability, ensuring that the right drivers are assigned to the right tasks.
- Assist with the coordination of vehicle repair and maintenance, ensuring that vehicles are available and in good working order.
- Prepare and present regular reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.

Experience Needed
- 2 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of industry awards and operating financials.
- Sound geographical knowledge of the Perth metropolitan area and regional WA, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical context.
- Advanced computer literacy, with the ability to use a range of software applications and systems.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service and satisfaction.
