Payroll Manager ANZ

Lineage Logistics is seeking a highly skilled Payroll Manager to join our team in Melbourne. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for producing accurate and timely payrolls, managing payroll procedures, and ensuring compliance with laws and tax obligations.
Key Responsibilities:- Interpret and apply industrial instruments, including awards, agreements, and employment contracts, to ensure correct pay rules.
- Manage the processing and payment of weekly wages and monthly salaries, ensuring all employee entitlements are recorded.
- Ensure tax compliance, obligations, and state revenue office requirements are met.
- Participate in internal and external audits as required.
- Manage the integrity and confidentiality of the payroll system and process through monitoring and improving internal controls.
- Manage leave requests and leave reporting, ensuring accurate recording and application of leave take.
- Analyze salary information to assist in evaluating salary levels.
- Calculate, manage, and coordinate termination payments with relevant stakeholders.
- Manage the administration of company and member superannuation contributions to a range of funds.
- Extensive experience as a Payroll Manager in a large, complex environment.
- Qualifications in Finance or relevant business disciplines.
- Experience leading a small team.
- Experience in interpreting and applying industrial instruments.
- High-level knowledge and proficiency in dual processing of wages/salaried employees.
- Comprehensive experience in a range of payroll systems, including electronic time and attendance.
- Experience in payroll system conversions and implementations an advantage.
