Atlas Recruitment Experts is seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to support the company's financial operations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, ensuring alignment with business goals and financial health.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations, preparing tax returns, and managing tax reporting for the company.
  • Manage day-to-day transactions, including processing invoices, payments, and collections.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits, reviewing financial records, and ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Oversee the payroll process to ensure accurate and timely payment of employees.
  • Analyze financial performance and provide insights for cost control, revenue generation, and profitability improvement.
  • Ensure that the company adheres to financial laws and regulations, including Australian Accounting Standards (AAS).
  • Monitor expenses and provide recommendations for cost-saving measures.
  • Collaborate with management, auditors, and other stakeholders to provide financial insights and ensure sound decision-making.

About the Role:

  • At least 2 years of experience as an Accountant.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, Australian Accounting Standards (AAS), and financial regulations.
  • Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to support business decisions.
  • Expertise in Australian tax laws and regulations, including corporate tax, GST, and payroll tax, with the ability to prepare and file tax returns accurately.
  • Familiarity with accounting software for managing accounts, payroll, and financial reporting.
  • Experience in preparing for and conducting internal and external audits, as well as ensuring compliance with legal and financial regulations.

Requirements:

  • Permanent/full-time position.
  • Salary: $80,000-$90,000.
