As an Instructional Designer, you will play a vital role in ensuring our workforce is equipped, confident, and ready to deliver high-quality care. You will design, develop, and deliver content that helps frontline teams understand and apply the changes introduced by new legislation and policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct training needs analyses to identify capability gaps and learning objectives
  • Create clear, role-specific content aligned with industry standards
  • Design and develop practical tools, microlearning resources, onboarding materials, and facilitator guides
  • Lead train-the-trainer sessions to empower local leaders in embedding change
  • Act as a content quality lead, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and alignment across materials

You are a clear communicator and skilled instructional designer, passionate about making complex information simple and actionable for diverse audiences.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in learning design, knowledge management, or a related discipline
  • 5+ years' experience developing content, training materials, or service documentation
  • Strong skills in interpreting complex frameworks and creating role-relevant tools and guides
  • Experience working with digital publishing platforms like SharePoint, intranet CMS, and Microsoft 365
  • Proven ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and engage stakeholders effectively

Ideal Qualifications:

  • Background in aged care, community services, healthcare, or similar fields
  • Experience developing microlearning or quick-reference materials
  • Familiarity with human-centred design or adult learning theory
