We are seeking a collaborative and experienced professional to support student progress in our School of Medicine.
About the RoleYou will work closely with the Head of Assessment to undertake key tasks such as item analysis, generating reports, and developing objective student progress reports. Your ability to foster relationships and communication with academic staff and assessment team members will be essential in implementing and maintaining effective systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake item analysis, including calculating standard set pass mark, Cronbach's alpha, and corrected total-item correlations.
- Generate reports, tables, and graphs to support discussion on student progression throughout the program.
- Develop annual student progress reports and upload these to a secure online platform for student retrieval.
- Support exam review sessions by generating student reports for 'students at risk'.
- Postgraduate degree in a relevant field or relevant postgraduate qualifications in specialist medical practice.
- Experience in performing longitudinal data analytics to combine multiple assessment tasks into one report.
- A capacity to develop concise student progress reports using data.
