Clinical Education Physiotherapy Academic Lead

Role Summary:
The position of Clinical Education Physiotherapy Lecturer is available within the School of Health Sciences. As a key member of our teaching team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality clinical education programs in physiotherapy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate student placements, liaise with facilities and supervisors to ensure smooth placement allocations and student support during fieldwork.
- Conduct tutorials, practical classes, demonstrations, workshops, student excursions, and clinical sessions to enhance student learning.
- Develop course materials and act as subject coordinators to drive academic excellence.
- Prepare and deliver lectures and tutorials that cater to diverse learning needs.
- Engage in research activities to contribute to the growth of knowledge in physiotherapy education.
- Assist with administrative tasks and participate in marking and assessment processes.
Requirements:
- Registration as a physiotherapist with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) is mandatory.
- Possession or pursuit of a doctoral qualification in physiotherapy or equivalent clinical experience is highly desirable.
- Substantial clinical experience and strong connections within the clinical education domain are advantageous.
