Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team as a Rehabilitation Consultant. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in helping our clients regain their independence and achieve their goals in life and work.

About the Role

  • Undertake Occupational Therapy assessments, including activities of daily living, home, worksite, functional, ergonomic, and equipment assessments.
  • Design and implement intervention programs using occupation to improve functional performance, independence, and work capacity.
  • Identify barriers and design, implement, and monitor programs that support people to achieve maximal work participation.
  • Understand various healthcare and rehabilitation funding schemes and empower clients to achieve their wellness and recovery goals.
  • Liaise with clients, family members, funding bodies, medical practitioners, employers, and stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify client needs and develop personalized plans.
  • Collaborate with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Develop and implement effective intervention programs to improve client function and independence.
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making adjustments as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in Occupational Therapy.

Requirements

  • Australian recognized degree qualification in Occupational Therapy and AHPRA accreditation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and customer service.
