Job Title: Senior Rehabilitation Consultant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Rehabilitation Consultant to join our team at IPAR. As a Senior Rehabilitation Consultant, you will play a critical role in providing occupational rehabilitation services to clients with a range of conditions, both physical and psychological. Your primary responsibility will be to support clients in achieving return to health and return to work outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Case management, including developing and implementing individualized rehabilitation plans to support clients in achieving their goals.
- Applying clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes, including conducting assessments and providing recommendations to employers and clients.
- Working collaboratively with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs.
- Providing support and guidance to clients and employers to address psychosocial barriers to employment and identify suitable employment opportunities.
- Completing a variety of assessments, including initial, workplace, and vocational assessments, to review diagnosis, support treatment plans, and identify suitable employment opportunities.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in Psychology or Rehabilitation Counselling.
- General or Provisional registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Psychologist or eligibility for Associate or Full membership with Australian Society of Rehabilitation Counsellors (ASORC) or Rehabilitation Counselling Association of Australia (RCAA) as a Rehabilitation Counsellor.
- Previous experience working in Occupational Rehabilitation industry would be highly regarded.
- Fabulous communication skills, including the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
- Compassion and kindness, as well as empathy, are essential qualities for this role.
- Well-developed time management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple caseloads.
- A current NSW Driver's License and access to own car with comprehensive insurance is a must.
