Teaching and Research Position

This role is designed to enhance the quality of Nursing education and research at Swinburne University. The successful applicant will contribute to the development and review of the Bachelor of Nursing, embedding Indigenous knowledge and person-centred practice into the curriculum.

The Department of Nursing seeks a dedicated professional with clinical experience in Nursing and strong organizational skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential for this position. Experience contributing to research teams and partnerships is also desirable.

Responsibilities:
  • Embedding Indigenous knowledge and person-centred practice into the curriculum
  • Contribution to the development and review of the Bachelor of Nursing
  • Fostering an inclusive academic community

The selected candidate will receive support for higher degree research studies and mentorship to develop their academic career. Participation in research aligned with the strategic directions of the School of Health Sciences and Department of Nursing is also expected.

Qualifications:
  • Relevant Nursing qualifications and eligibility for registration
  • A PhD or Doctorate relevant to the discipline or equivalent experience
