About the Role
Our institution's School of Nursing and Midwifery is a leading centre for teaching, research, and clinical practice. We offer a range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and higher degree programs in nursing and midwifery, with clinical schools based at Alfred Health, Austin Health, Northern Health, and Melbourne Health networks.
The school has a strong reputation for innovation, including simulation-based education and clinician-facilitated supervision. Our faculty members are experienced educators who have expertise in contemporary nursing practice and course coordination.
Duties will include:
- Developing and delivering high-quality educational programs.
- Mentoring staff in curriculum development and delivery.
- Conducting research and publishing in leading journals.
- Supervising HDR, honours, and postgraduate students.
- Securing funding for research projects.
- Engaging in knowledge transfer and external representation.
Key Requirements
- PhD or equivalent accreditation.
- Proven experience in curriculum development and teaching excellence.
- Leadership experience in academic roles.
- Strong research publication record.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
