Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced professional to assume responsibility for client portfolio management and administration. This role requires the ability to set up new clients, maintain existing relationships, and ensure seamless end-to-end administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client onboarding and portfolio setup, including implementation of advice strategies and proactive management until completion (superannuation, SMSFs, and insurance)
  • Collaboration with team peers by reviewing work prior to submission to minimize errors
  • Accurate documentation of all works in progress and written or verbal correspondence with clients in the Xplan database

About the Role

  • Takes ownership of tasks and sees them through to completion
  • Demonstrates initiative, accuracy, and attention to detail, with a confident and client-friendly attitude
  • Proactively identifies discrepancies with client data and takes corrective action
  • Strong written and oral communication skills required
  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience supporting financial planners
  • Possession of a Diploma of Financial Services (RG146) is highly desirable
  • Experience with financial planning software essential, COIN/Xplan preferred
  • Familiarity with advice platforms such as North is advantageous
  • Strong technical and advice implementation skills
