Media Strategist Role Overview

This role offers a unique opportunity to develop and implement media strategies across multiple clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and execute comprehensive media plans that meet client objectives.
  • Collaborate with directors to ensure clients' business goals are met, including the creation of training materials or regular updates on current marketing channels.
  • Proactively identify potential issues within client portfolios and escalate to directors/client partners in advance.
Team Leadership:
  • Assist in training coordinators and planning executives in fundamental planning principles, creative thinking, and core job functions.
  • Manage day-to-day tasks and workloads of coordinators and planning executives.
  • Communicate effectively across teams, including key inputs to weekly meetings, writing meeting reports from client interactions, and ensuring team awareness of client portfolio status and progress.
Financial Oversight & Management:
  • Perform reconciliations on campaign plan media expenditures with activations teams.
  • Understand the impact of client/agency contract agreements on campaigns and contribute to forecasting and other financial tasks.
  • Own billings and approval processes for individual accounts.
Requirements:
  • 4-6 years of experience in a similar role.
  • University degree or higher education qualifications preferred.
  • Expertise across office platforms: Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Strong financial management skills.
  • Deep understanding of media planning and measurement tools.
