This is a unique opportunity to drive health and justice outcomes in Queensland, leading one of the most purposeful roles in the healthcare system.

The successful candidate will have extensive senior leadership experience in people strategy, HR operations, and organisational culture, ideally within government or complex regulated environments.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing innovative, values-based people and culture strategies across a dynamic healthcare service
  • Driving strategic workforce planning, cultural transformation, and organisational capability uplift
  • Delivering long-term, system-wide impact through inclusive, people-focused leadership

About the Role:

This role will be instrumental in shaping the workforce that supports growth, transformation, and frontline excellence in a diverse and rapidly evolving healthcare service.

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, this position leads workforce strategy, organisational development, employment relations, work health and safety, and cultural initiatives that impact over 5,000 staff.

This individual will provide high-level strategic advice to the Board and Executive, shaping the future of workforce delivery and performance across the healthcare service.
