Human Resources Support and Administration Role

This is a part-time role focused on providing administrative support to the APAC team based in Australia and Malaysia. As a detail-oriented and organised HR Support & Administration professional, you will ensure smooth HR processes, provide accurate information, and be a trusted first point of contact for employee queries.

The ideal candidate will have experience in HR administration, payroll support, or similar office administration roles, with strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience using Xero, BambooHR, Asana, and Papaya Global are advantageous.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Employee Support: Be the first point of contact for HR-related queries from staff, provide clear information on HR policies, processes, and procedures, and act as the People & Culture (HR) representative for APAC.
  • HR Administration: Maintain and update employee records in our HR systems, prepare and issue employment contracts, variations, and other HR-related documentation, assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, and track leave, attendance, and other employee data.
  • Recruitment Administration: Post job ads on relevant platforms, coordinate interview scheduling and communication with candidates, and support the hiring process by preparing documentation and reference checks.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Good working knowledge of Australian employment legislation and some knowledge of Malaysian employment law and HR practices.
  • Experience in HR administration, payroll support, or similar office administration roles.
  • Professional and approachable communication style.
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
