Infrastructure Architecture Director

Onset Group is seeking an experienced Senior Manager to lead our Infrastructure Architecture team. This is a pivotal role, driving innovation and strategy alignment across a diverse portfolio, impacting over 400 technologists and millions of consumers.
The practice you will lead solves an incredibly diverse set of challenges, and your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the infrastructure aligns with business goals and delivers exceptional value.
You will work closely with the GM of Infrastructure and key stakeholders across all business lines, managing relationships with the C-suite and facilitating strategic decision making. As a 'Manager of Managers' role, you will lead and mentor a team of talented architects, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture.
This is a Sydney-based position (1/2 days in-office, 3/4 days working from home), offering a competitive $245K package + bonus potential.
Key Responsibilities:- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive infrastructure architecture strategy that supports business objectives and drives transformation and new technology adoption.
- Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of talented architects, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with business and IT leaders, effectively communicating complex technical concepts and advocating for strategic initiatives.
- Solution Architecture: Oversee the design, development, and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performing infrastructure solutions.
- Governance: Establish and maintain robust governance frameworks to ensure compliance, quality, and efficiency.
- Innovation: Identify and drive emerging technologies to enhance our infrastructure capabilities and competitive advantage.
- Proven experience in managing infrastructure architecture teams in large, complex organizations.
- Demonstrable experience managing through managers, supporting their alignment to broader strategic goals and supporting their personal leadership growth.
- Experience working in Agile environments and supporting teams through transformational change.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
