About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the integration of construction, operation, maintenance, and services, drive owner/operator-led technical outcomes, and whole-of-life costs optimization for buildings and social infrastructure.

The Technical Director will be responsible for:

  • Participating in identifying and evaluating new business opportunities and developing analysis to consolidate new revenue streams for existing projects.
  • Supporting asset development and delivery approval processes and other internal governance activities.
  • Managing all technical aspects of social infrastructure/accommodation development-phase assets, including developing projects that achieve commercial and financial close, delivering successful PPP bids, and forming strong relationships with D&C/EPC and O&M/FM contractors.
  • Providing technical input into key project contracts and preparing market suppliers strategies and comparisons.
  • Managing consultants in accordance with project budgets and overall timeframes.

About You

We are looking for someone with a strong background in civil engineering or architecture, 12+ years of post-graduate experience, and a proven track record in successfully developing buildings and social infrastructure assets. The ideal candidate will have experience managing interfaces with D&C/EPC and O&M/FM contractors, developing and negotiating optimal technical outcomes, and working in social infrastructure PPP bids.
