We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to join our team as the Associate Head of Campus at Mount Isa Flexible School.

**Job Summary**

This position requires an individual with strong leadership skills, experience in working with diverse educational environments, and a deep understanding of wellbeing and inclusive practices. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing guidance and support across the school, collaborating closely with the Head of Campus, Area Principal, and Regional Support Team.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Demonstrate commitment to Edmund Rice Education's values and principles, including Gospel Spirituality, Justice and Solidarity, and Liberating Education.
  • Develop and maintain programs that cater to the needs of young people at risk, leveraging substantial knowledge and experience in leadership aspects.
  • Provide trauma-informed practice and wellbeing support, empowering young people to build a learner identity and achieve positive social outcomes.
  • Foster a learning environment that offers diverse choices and assessments, tailored to meet the unique characteristics and learning styles of our students.

**Requirements**

  • Tertiary qualifications in Teaching or Social/Behavioural Sciences.
  • Registration with Queensland College of Teachers or current Paid Qld Blue card (Working with Children Check).
  • Previous experience in leadership roles, preferably in diverse educational settings.
  • A current open Drivers Licence, as transport of young people may be required.
