Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Education Leader for Health and Physical Education to join our team at Good Shepherd Catholic College, Mount Isa. This is a permanent teaching role with a 3-year fixed-term appointment to the Middle Leader position.
Key Responsibilities
- To lead and manage the development and implementation of the learning and teaching program in Health and Physical Education.
- To ensure that appropriate pedagogies are developed and implemented at all levels.
- To provide guidance and support to teachers in the delivery of Health and Physical Education programs.
- To analyze current data to inform decisions and develop appropriate partnerships within and outside of the college.
- To prudently administer available resources to achieve outcomes.
Requirements
- A tertiary qualification in Health and Physical Education or a related field.
- Registration or eligibility for registration with the Queensland College of Teachers.
- Current Driver's Licence.
- Ability to travel from time to time within the Catholic Diocese of Townsville.
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role in a safe manner.
