Job Description

The Compliance and Governance Officer will support the development, implementation, and maintenance of internal compliance systems and governance frameworks. This role is ideal for someone with a strong administrative background, an interest in corporate governance or regulatory compliance, and a commitment to integrity and excellence.

This senior-level role is responsible for assisting in monitoring and tracking of compliance obligations, policies, and procedures.

  • Preparation of board and committee meeting papers, minutes, and agendas.
  • Maintenance of registers such as conflicts of interest, delegations, and document retention.
  • Assistance in compliance reporting and audit preparations.
  • Coordination of compliance training and policy rollouts across the organization.
  • Maintenance of accurate records in governance and compliance systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Experience in an administrative, legal, governance, or compliance-related role.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

Strong computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems.

Familiarity with corporate governance frameworks, regulatory compliance, or risk management is highly desirable.

A proactive and collaborative approach to work.

Ability to travel when required.
