Position Overview: Senior HR Manager

In the capacity of Senior HR Manager, you will play a crucial role in steering thought leadership across various domains such as industrial relations, performance management, and employee engagement. This essential position demands a strategic mindset to provide coaching and support to the People & Culture team, ensuring that operational practices align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Establish and uphold a comprehensive Industrial Relations framework that aligns with organizational strategies.
  2. Offer strategic and procedural negotiation assistance to People & Culture Managers and Business Leaders.
  3. Formulate and maintain people policies, including standards and guidelines, while ensuring effective performance improvement and reporting processes.

  5. Guarantee adherence to legal requirements across operational jurisdictions.

Qualifications and Skills

  1. Thorough understanding of Industrial Relations and Employment Relations legislation across Australia.
  2. Extensive experience in a comparable role.
  3. Proven negotiation skills in employment agreements and union interactions.
  4. Commitment to continuous improvement with a track record of developing effective strategies and frameworks.
  5. Strong commercial awareness with the ability to exercise sound judgment within established policies.
  6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a keen attention to detail and strong relationship management capabilities.
  7. Adept at balancing hands-on involvement with strategic oversight.
