
Part-Time Financial Administrator

About the Role:
This part-time position is focused on managing the financial day-to-day operations of three stores, including paying invoices, wages, BAS, Superannuation and PAYG.
The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, performing reconciliations, processing accounts payable and receivable, preparing and lodging BAS, PAYG, and Superannuation, managing payroll and employee entitlements, ensuring accurate WorkCover compliance, reporting and claims administration, assisting with month-end and year-end financial reporting, and liaising with external accountants.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain accurate financial records
- Process accounts payable and receivable
- Prepare and lodge BAS, PAYG, and Superannuation
- Manage payroll and employee entitlements
- Ensure accurate WorkCover compliance, reporting and claims administration
- Assist with month-end and year-end financial reporting
- Liaise with external accountants
- Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles
- Strong knowledge and proficiency of Xero, QuickBooks, and Deputy rostering
- Demonstrated experience in wages & payroll processing
- Understanding of Australian accounting standards and ATO requirements
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Certificate IV in Bookkeeping/Accounting or relevant qualification (preferred)
