Employee Relations Specialist

About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Employee Relations Specialist to join our Employee Experience and Wellbeing team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting our members and employees in their careers and personal lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice and support to the People & Culture team and the organisation on complex employee relations issues, including performance management, discipline, and workplace investigations.
- Develop and implement effective solutions to complex employee relations queries, drawing on your knowledge of employment law, operational priorities, and people management best practices.
- Represent the organisation at tribunals and the Fair Work Commission, ensuring that our interests are represented and our employees are supported.
- Support the negotiation and implementation of Enterprise Agreements, ensuring that our employees are aware of their rights and responsibilities.
About You
We're looking for someone with a strong background in employee relations, employment law, and people management. You'll have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with employees, managers, and external stakeholders.
Key Requirements:
- Experience in a legal environment or in an employee relations specialist role within a medium to large organisation.
- Highly developed knowledge of employment legislation and ability to conduct legal research.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong case management experience and demonstrated ability to engage and influence key stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
