About the Role
We're committed to helping our members achieve their financial goals. As an Employee Relations Specialist in our Employee Experience and Wellbeing team, you'll play a vital role in various employee relations initiatives. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing expert support and guidance to the People & Culture team and the organisation on complex employee relations matters, such as performance management, disciplinary procedures, workplace injuries, and employment disputes.
- Developing practical solutions to complex queries, drawing on your in-depth knowledge of employment law, operational priorities, and people management best practices.
- Conducting thorough investigations and collaborating with external experts as needed.
- Representing the organisation at tribunals and the Fair Work Commission.
- Supporting the negotiation and implementation of Enterprise Agreements and providing advice to the People & Culture team and leaders across the organisation to ensure compliance with and consistent application of these agreements.

About You
To succeed in this role, you'll need to be an exceptional communicator with outstanding interpersonal skills. You'll also need to be able to think critically and develop creative solutions to complex problems. Some of the key qualifications and skills we're looking for include:
- Experience in a legal environment or in an employee relations specialist role within a medium to large organisation.
- Exposure to Enterprise Agreement negotiation and implementation for a medium to large organisation.
- Advanced knowledge of employment legislation and the ability to conduct in-depth research.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong case management experience and the ability to engage and influence key stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Law, Human Resources, or another related field.
