Senior Practitioner

Job Summary:
The Senior Practitioner - Program Support will provide high-quality casework and support to the leadership of programs delivered by the Bridge and ROSA teams. This role will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to foster responsive and collaborative service delivery within the program suite.
Key Responsibilities:
- Casework and Support: Complete casework to a high standard, including regular review of cases, outcomes measurement, and completion of progress reports for Child Safety as required.
- Program Planning and Review: Participate in program and service planning, review, monitoring, and evaluation activities to ensure efficient, effective, and appropriate service provision, including documentation and maintenance of all client records as required.
- Leadership and Team Support: Demonstrate leadership by coaching, mentoring, and motivating team members to achieve program goals, including assisting with induction of new staff and supporting staff in case conceptualization and planning.
- Practice Framework: Ensure working from a trauma-informed and child development practice framework, utilizing evidence-based interventions.
Requirements:
- Qualifications and Experience: Possession of a relevant degree in social work or psychology and a minimum of three years' experience working therapeutically with children and young people who have experienced trauma.
- Theoretical and Therapeutic Approaches: Demonstrated understanding and experience working with theoretical and therapeutic approaches relevant to the work of both ROSA and Bridge.
- Risk Assessment and Client Safety: Demonstrated ability to undertake risk assessments relating to suicidal ideation and child protection concerns and capacity to liaise with management to ensure client safety.
- Skills and Experience: Knowledge, skills, and experience in one or more of the following – group work, counseling, community education and training, and culturally responsive practices.
- Industry Experience: Relevant experience in Community Services and/or within a Not-For-Profit or Faith-Based sector.
- Driver's License and Certifications: A current Driver's License and eligibility to obtain and maintain both a Disability Worker Screening and a Working with Children Blue Card.
