Job Title:

Team Leader

 

Role Summary:

The Department of Justice and Community Safety is seeking a Team Leader to provide strong leadership to a team of staff who promote the personal development of young people who offend and contribute to the diversion and rehabilitation of the young person and the reduction of crime in the community.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and manage casework and the day-to-day delivery of services to clients, supervise and provide leadership to the team, provide authoritative advice and support to Youth Justice workers, and prepare reports.

 

Requirements:

We're looking for someone with a strong understanding of the youth justice system, principles of case management and case work, and demonstrated leadership/mentoring skills and experience. A Bachelor of Social Work or Advanced Diploma in Community Services Work is required, along with a full driver's licence and a current Working with Children Check (WWCC) card.
