As a Government Planning Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on planning matters, analyzing data, and preparing reports. Your strong communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to effectively collaborate with stakeholders, including council members, community groups, and other government agencies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing expert advice on planning matters to councils and other stakeholders;
  • Analyzing data and preparing reports on planning trends and issues;
  • Developing and implementing planning policies and strategies that align with council goals and objectives;

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant qualification suitable for corporate membership of the Planning Institute of Australia;

  • Well-developed organizational and administrative skills, with a proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines;
