Job Description:Company Overview

Roy Hill is seeking a Chief Financial Systems Governance Specialist to join our Finance Systems and Operations team. This role will be responsible for ensuring that core finance business systems and their interfaces with other systems run smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities:
  1. Support the Finance team in ensuring the integrity of financial data and system controls
  2. Facilitate business process mappings and systems controls to ensure Segregation of Duty (SOD) compliance across all modules in the ERP system
  3. Perform regular system audits and monitor compliance with system security controls
  4. Represent the Finance team during planning, development, testing, and implementation phases of system changes
  5. Initiate and recommend opportunities to simplify and improve systems, processes, and reporting tools
  6. Promote and manage data governance through monitoring and reporting by exception of data quality issues
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or Information Technology related field
  • SAP FICO end-user knowledge/experience and ability to interact with and articulate finance systems business requirements to SAP technology consultants
  • Knowledge of SAP security governance and control process to ensure segregation of duties compliance across all SAP modules
  • Experience in mapping and improving business processes
  • Excellent knowledge of business process integration and interfaces points between Finance, HR, Sales & Distribution, and procurements functional areas
