Job Summary

This role involves working as a Town Planning Officer, providing expert advice and support to Local Governments on strategic planning matters. You will be responsible for developing and implementing planning policies, managing stakeholder relationships, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant qualification suitable for corporate membership of the Planning Institute of Australia;
  • Prior experience in Strategic/Statutory/Town Planning, preferably within Local Government;
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders;
  • Well-developed organisational and administrative skills, with a proven ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines;
  • Prior experience working in Local Government is highly regarded.
