Job Requirements

  1. Provide high-quality service to guests by responding promptly, efficiently, and courteously during check-in, check-out, and throughout their stay.
  2. Maintain accurate control of guest and hotel accounts, ensuring all charges are correct and posted timely.
  3. Operate the telephone system effectively, handling all calls promptly and professionally, greeting callers according to established policy.
  4. Complete the daily shift checklist, referring any items needing follow-up to the Front Desk Supervisor or Duty Manager.
  5. Accurately transfer details from the registration card to the guest reservation in Opera, ensuring future stays are updated with relevant needs and requests.
  6. Be aware of VIP arrivals and special requests for the day.
  7. Possess extensive knowledge of the Opera Front Office system regarding reservations, check-in, cashiering, and check-out.
  8. Demonstrate professionalism and flair by serving guests with enthusiasm and expertise, ensuring their requests are efficiently fulfilled.
  9. Provide personalised service to all guests, striving to achieve exceptional outcomes.
  10. Embody the art of hospitality with a positive attitude and a commitment to excellence.
  11. Complete tasks in a timely manner.
  12. Assist with implementing and maintaining high standards across the hotel.

Key Qualifications

  • Highly motivated with excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Maintain a professional appearance, representing the brand.
  • Ability to work a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays.
