The Role

We are looking for a casual Cleaner to cover staff shortages. Uniforms provided. Training provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a clean, hygienic and safe environment for staff and students, including classrooms, dormitories, laboratories, offices, stairs, corridors and landings.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness at all times.
  • Attend training and professional development as directed by the School.
  • Adhere to workplace health and safety procedures and policies related to the safe use of cleaning chemicals; monitor and report safety of equipment to the Cleaning Manager or Facilities and Services Manager as required.
  • Be aware of emergency/fire procedures and be responsible for designated duties in the event of an emergency.
Qualifications

Applicants must hold a current Blue Card (Working with Children Check) or have the ability to obtain one.

All applicants will be subject to Rockhampton Girls Grammar School legislative screening procedures and will be required to authorise such checks and provide identification. These checks are consistent with the School's commitment to child protection policies and procedures.
