Housekeeping Team Leader

 

About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and organized individual to lead our housekeeping team. As a Housekeeping Team Leader, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of room cleanliness in line with industry benchmarks.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating cleaning schedules and staff rosters to ensure efficient operations.
  • Overseeing performance, supporting staff development, and assisting with recruitment to build a high-performing team.
  • Monitoring inventory levels and ensuring timely ordering of supplies to maintain stock control.
  • Leading by example to ensure all staff deliver exceptional guest service and handle enquiries efficiently.
  • Supporting the team in cleaning cabins, common areas, and amenities as required.

 

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for creating a clean and comfortable environment for guests.

Previous experience in a housekeeping or supervisory role is essential.

Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety standards.

Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and make decisions based on priorities and guest needs.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and housekeeping management software.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.

A current valid driver's license is preferred.
