About the role

As a Cleaning Team Leader, you'll be the driving force behind maintaining exceptional cleanliness and customer service across multiple sites. You'll coordinate cleaning activities, mentor your team, and ensure the highest quality standards are met. You'll also be at the forefront, representing the company on new client sites, ensuring that we make a great first impression every time.

As a PM Team leader, hours will be Monday to Friday 3.30pm pm and every second Saturday to answer calls. You will arrive to work in your own transport, and drive around to sites in a company vehicle to support, lead, motivate, inspire and uphold quality standards.

With significant organic growth, the introduction of new IT systems, procedures, and software, and the development of formalized processes across the business, this role is critical in supporting staff, creatively solving operational challenges, managing rostering, and driving change management initiatives.

We are looking for a leader who can balance strong operational oversight with the ability to inspire, innovate, and support our teams as we continue to scale

Tasks & Responsibilities

* Lead and Motivate: Inspire your team to deliver top-tier cleaning services while ensuring efficiency, teamwork, and clear communication.

* Quality Control: Perform hands-on cleaning tasks and inspect work to ensure quality standards are met. If issues arise, address them swiftly and with professionalism.

* Training & Onboarding: Share your expertise with new hires, providing them with the tools and knowledge they need to succeed.

* Safety & Compliance: Uphold health and safety protocols, ensuring your team follows safe work practices.

* Equipment Management: Ensure cleaning supplies and equipment are maintained and report any issues to the Team & Inventory Manager.

* Feedback & Improvement: Collaborate with leadership, offering feedback and suggesting process improvements to make us even better.

Skills & experience

* Experience: Minimum 2 years if experience in a cleaning role, with supervisory experience preferred

* Leadership: You know how to motivate a team and create a positive work environment. You lead by example and communicate effective

* Attention to Detail: You pride yourself on getting things done to the highest standard, and you encourage your team to do the same

* Reliability: You have a valid driver's license, access to reliable transportation, and are able to pass a drug and alcohol test. A clean police check and willingness to undergo background checks is essential

* A Desire to Grow: You're open to obtaining relevant qualifications like a White Card and any other certifications to continue advancing in your career
