Our Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB) supports large corporate and institutional clients worldwide with universal financial services. CIB is positioned as an essential partner to large enterprises seeking to maximise their potential, offering streamlined business access to our broad range of market-leading banking products and services.
You will be part of the Global Network Banking (GNB) business, focusing on providing banking services to subsidiaries of CIB customers through consistent, in-depth, and dedicated coverage across the HSBC network. Your goal is to deepen existing client relationships and manage a portfolio of clients whose headquarters' banks are with us in other countries.
Based in Melbourne, this role offers a great opportunity to broaden your corporate banking experience within an environment managing a large, internationally focused portfolio. You will provide new challenges across our full suite of corporate banking products including credit and lending, transactional banking, trade finance, markets, financial crime, and credit risk management.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for key clients and internal colleagues locally and internationally.
- Establishing strong working relationships with clients' management teams.
- Collaborating with other global businesses, product, and service partners to connect customers and strengthen relationships.
- Deepening client relationships and developing strategies to improve income generation, anticipating customer needs, and providing superior service.
- Negotiating and structuring credit facilities and documentation within credit/lending policies and market standards.
- Maintaining a proactive calling program to service clients and ensuring senior management and stakeholders are contacted regularly.
- Delivering high-quality service by owning customer engagement and striving for excellence in all interactions.
