Instrument Design Specialist

Our organization seeks a skilled Electrical & Instrument Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and specifying instruments for various applications, including pressure, flow, level, and temperature measurement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and specifying instruments for measurement of pressure, flow, level, and temperature.
- Specifying and designing control valves and actuators.
- Selecting control system hardware and designing system architecture.
- Designing fire and gas detection systems and contributing to risk assessments.
- Performing hazardous area classification and relevant calculations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering (recognized by Engineers Australia).
- Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status or substantial progress towards obtaining it.
- Strong technical expertise in Instrument & Control Engineering principles and practices.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software for detailed design tasks.
- Solid knowledge of Australian Standards, codes, and regulatory requirements relevant to Instrument & Control Engineering.
