Music Learning Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Music Learning Specialist to support the growth and development of students in specialist instruments and ensembles.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering effective learning programs, assessing student progress, and developing teaching methods and materials to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create engaging lesson plans and activities that foster student growth and understanding.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance and progress, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Prepare students for concerts, liturgies, festivals, and other musical events.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated expertise in playing one or more musical instruments.
  • Able to read and write music notation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience monitoring student progress and adapting teaching methods accordingly.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team setting.
Eligibility
  • Hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement.
  • Eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.
