Job Title: Senior Control Systems and Instrumentation Engineer

The role of Senior Control Systems and Instrumentation Engineer involves designing and specifying general instrumentation, valves, and DCS/PLC-based control systems for various projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Designing and engineering instrumentation systems for mining, processing plant, or oil and gas industries.
  • Providing CS&I engineering and design support to projects seamlessly and with high quality.
  • Selecting and specifying instrumentation in accordance with equipment datasheets.
  • Developing changeover plans for brownfield control system upgrades.
  • Participating in design and hazard reviews.
  • Mentoring junior engineers and reviewing supplier documentation.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering and 10-13 years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in Control System/Instrumentation Engineering, including functional safety systems and TUV certification.
  • CPEng status and current RPEQ.
  • Excellent attitude towards safety and ability to comply with safety requirements.
