Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering Specialist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering Specialist to join our team of passionate professionals who are dedicated to delivering innovative, safe, and industry-leading projects.

This role will involve working with a multidisciplinary team to produce high-quality engineering deliverables that meet strict technical standards. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical and instrumentation engineering, with experience in design exposure to LV and HV distribution system design, PLC and Remote IO control system design, and material handling and process plant instrumentation design.

The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented engineer with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently on multiple projects with conflicting deadlines. They will also have strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical and instrumentation systems for various industries including mining, oil and gas, water, and infrastructure
  • Develop detailed designs, specifications, and datasheets for equipment and materials
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project delivery and budget adherence
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement changes
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of project progress and outcomes

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of relevant Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering experience
  • RPEQ registration required
  • Degree or equivalent in Electrical, Instrument and Control or Mechatronics (mandatory)
