The Opportunity
Due to our sustained growth, we are currently seeking a Senior Electrical & Instrumentation Designer to join our team in the Brisbane office. This position reports directly to the Designer Team Lead and involves working on a diverse range of projects across the Energy, Chemicals and Mineral Processing industries.
Skills And Experience
- 10+ years industry experience;
- Mining / minerals processing or oil & gas experience desirable;
- A strong understanding of relevant Australian standards;
- Experience with client standards and specifications and ability to interpret and incorporate requirements;
- Be able to work autonomously;
- Be proficient in producing 2D design drawings (including electrical schematics, panel layouts, single line diagrams, instrument drawings);
- Be proficient with AutoCAD or MicroStation;
- Work within multidisciplinary teams to expand your experience and capabilities.
- Utilise your technical expertise to prepare specifications, develop engineering scopes, and conduct design reviews to deliver optimal solutions.
- Collaborate on various project phases, working closely with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience autonomy and take ownership of your role, fostering personal and professional growth.
