About this Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Marine Project Engineer to lead our team in the safe and successful delivery of a technically complex marine works package based in Perth. This is a rare opportunity to work on one of Western Australia's most significant coastal infrastructure developments.

As a Senior Marine Project Engineer, you will oversee and lead engineering on critical offshore operations including installation of precast intake structures, laying of pipelines, coordination of offshore piling and drilling works, oversight of temporary works and subsea diving operations, and supporting marine logistics and offshore scheduling.

You will provide technical guidance to the construction delivery team to support the delivery of this unique multi-disciplinary package of marine construction works. You will also lead and mentor younger engineers, ensuring adherence to financial and contractual parameters during the delivery stages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Programming & scheduling the works
  • Planning and reviewing heavy lift studies
  • Weekly and monthly reporting
  • Cost to complete forecasting and managing budgets
Requirements
  • Proven experience in marine construction or offshore infrastructure delivery
  • Background in piling, heavy lifting, marine logistics, tunnelling or underwater installations
  • At least 5 years in a Project Engineer/Senior Project Engineer or leadership role within civil/marine environments in Australia for contractors
  • Minimum Bachelors degree in construction (civil/structural/marine) or related field
  • Strong organisational, problem-solving, and leadership abilities
  • Deep understanding of HS&E standards and best practices
