About the Role

We're seeking a talented eCommerce Content Creator to join our team. As a key member of our content creation team, you'll be responsible for crafting engaging and revenue-driving SEO eCommerce content that aligns with our commercial goals. Your expertise will be invaluable in helping us drive clicks and revenue.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create high-quality, engaging, and revenue-driving SEO eCommerce content that resonates with our audience.
  • Pitch innovative ideas to grow and diversify our affiliate revenue stream through regular content planning meetings.
  • Manage, write, and edit tech deals articles to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Identify and cover eCommerce SEO content gaps to drive clicks and revenue.
  • Conduct thorough research and interviews with experts for assigned articles.
  • Optimize and update existing eCommerce stories to enhance their earning potential.
  • Cover eCommerce sale tent poles throughout the year, focusing on SEO best practices.
  • Collaborate with social, email, and audience development teams to ideate and execute new ways of connecting shopping experiences.
  • Analyze purchasing data, trends, and competitors to inform content development and improvement.
  • Represent News Corp Australia at industry events, product launches, and other key engagements.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in writing clean, authentic, and engaging copy for digital lifestyle brands or publications.
  • A clear passion for News Corp Australia's brands, particularly news.com.au checkout and Taste.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of core SEO principles and best practices to attract a buying audience.
  • An organized and methodical approach to work, with a creative and collaborative mindset.
  • Able to work against tight deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • A flair for working with individuals across different departments and a self-starter attitude.

Salary

We're offering a competitive salary of $80,000 - $100,000 per annum, depending on experience.
