
Chief Business Development Officer

Key Responsibilities:
- Identify project pipeline opportunities across the Hunter Valley and broader NSW region.
- Develop and manage a robust pipeline of business opportunities, coordinating the entire tender process.
- Prepare and price quotes for major projects, collaborating with operational and estimating teams.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, focusing on understanding project drivers and operational needs.
- Manage communication, feedback, and issue resolution for key client accounts.
- Support the negotiation and administration of contractual agreements, ensuring clarity of scope and risk mitigation.
- Undertake contract reviews and risk assessments to address potential delivery or commercial risks.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of awarded work.
- Monitor business performance metrics and support continuous improvement through data-driven insights.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience in business development or sales within industrial services, mining, construction, or a related field.
- Strong capability in managing end-to-end tender and quoting processes, including commercial structuring and risk assessment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Solid understanding of pricing models, margins, and project delivery in an operational environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms, with a structured approach to pipeline tracking and client engagement.
- Highly self-motivated with a proactive mindset and ability to work independently and within a team environment.
