Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify project pipeline opportunities across the Hunter Valley and broader NSW region.
  • Develop and manage a robust pipeline of business opportunities, coordinating the entire tender process.
  • Prepare and price quotes for major projects, collaborating with operational and estimating teams.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, focusing on understanding project drivers and operational needs.
  • Manage communication, feedback, and issue resolution for key client accounts.
  • Support the negotiation and administration of contractual agreements, ensuring clarity of scope and risk mitigation.
  • Undertake contract reviews and risk assessments to address potential delivery or commercial risks.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of awarded work.
  • Monitor business performance metrics and support continuous improvement through data-driven insights.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in business development or sales within industrial services, mining, construction, or a related field.
  • Strong capability in managing end-to-end tender and quoting processes, including commercial structuring and risk assessment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Solid understanding of pricing models, margins, and project delivery in an operational environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms, with a structured approach to pipeline tracking and client engagement.
  • Highly self-motivated with a proactive mindset and ability to work independently and within a team environment.
