Job Title: Business Development Coordinator Job Description

The Sales Support and Compliance Coordinator will provide professional support to the MD of the Australian office and the Business Development (BD) team in their BD activities. The role will involve managing relationships with customers, developing sales opportunities, and ensuring compliance in key areas.

  • Work closely with the sales team to build long-term relationships with key military, industry, and academic customers.
  • Coordinate BIA presence at trade shows and events.
  • Identify new opportunities and projects through online tender portals.
  • Assist with the preparation and review of development proposals for the BD team.
  • Liaise with Defence and Industry Partners for attendance at external events.
  • Act as Security Officer with oversight from Chief Security Officer.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO standards by maintaining the Quality Management System.
  • Oversee BIA WHS requirements as the WHS Representative.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement sales and business development strategies for the organization.

Monitor progress against objectives and analyze sales opportunities.

Generate and close sales.

Create and sustain effective relationships with key customers, partners, and resellers.

Ensure compliance in key areas, including Defence security, WHS, and QMS.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to develop new markets and close deals.
  • Self-starter with ability to multitask and prioritize various projects.
  • Strong English language skills.
  • Desire to tackle challenges and thrive in an ever-changing environment.
