- Operational Support: Provide operational HR support and guidance to leaders and employees, including recruitment, talent management, and employee engagement.
- HR Policy and Procedure: Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Workplace Issues: Coordinate and manage the resolution of workplace issues, ensuring appropriate consultation and communication with relevant parties.
- Union Relations: Build and foster positive working relationships with unions and other stakeholders.
- Performance Management: Participate in and provide guidance around performance management issues.
- Learning and Development: Support the business with their learning and development requirements.
- Workforce Planning: Provide support and guidance with workforce planning.
- Employee Records: Assist with maintaining employee records.
- Qualifications: Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in an HR Generalist or Industrial Relations role.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and work with a variety of stakeholders.
- Knowledge: Experience interpreting Enterprise Agreements and knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
