Project Coordinator Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to take on a project coordination role in our Development Services team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the delivery of development and infrastructure projects, from feasibility through to construction and handover.
  • Prepare and manage project documentation including scopes, schedules, budgets, risk registers, procurement plans, and tender submissions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, councils, government authorities, consultants, and contractors.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary inputs (engineering, planning, surveying, environmental) to ensure integrated and timely project outcomes.
  • Manage project financial performance including forecasting, resource planning, reporting, and commercial risk.
  • Participate in business development, proposal preparation, and strategic planning initiatives.
  • Lead and deliver multidisciplinary development and infrastructure projects within Tasmania and other states.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years strong project management capability in either engineering, construction or property development with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and resolve competing priorities with diplomacy and professionalism.
  • Ability to interpret and communicate complex technical, planning, and regulatory information effectively.
  • Demonstrated understanding of local development approval processes and infrastructure planning in Tasmania (or other states) is desirable.
  • Financial and commercial acumen with an understanding of project profitability, cost control, and contract administration.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and client presentations.
  • Self-motivated with excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Adaptability and resilience in dynamic environments with competing deadlines.
