Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Security professional to support multiple clients. This role involves working effectively with the Regional and Global Security team, adhering to customer and corporate standards, and participating in the creation of documentation.

  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive process improvement and ensure compliance with industry and federal government security standards.
  • Develop and implement robust security policies to control access to systems, leveraging your expertise in ACF2/RACF security Architecture.
  • Participate in vendor and platform upgrades, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Manage SSL Certificates in a Mainframe environment, providing secure authentication and data transmission.
  • Perform cyclic compliance activities, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements.
  • Administer access control, ensuring that all system access is properly managed and monitored.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and maintain detailed technical documentation.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 2+ years' experience in Cyber Security, preferably with a focus on Mainframe security.
  • Strong knowledge of Unix in z/OS, including sound working knowledge of NetMaster/MAI and SOLVE.
  • Experience with JCL, SAS, Clist, and/or REXX, as well as experience with CICS/IMS/DB2/MQ (a plus).
  • Understanding of ADABAS, CONTROLM processes, and Mainframe certificate management.
  • Experience in upgrades, working with auditors (specifically SOX AND SOC1), and using Ticketing Systems (preference for SNOW).
  • The ability to work comfortably with Microsoft Office suite tools, particularly Excel.
  • A solid understanding of best security practices, with a quick learner attitude and willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Relevant Information Security certification (CISSP/CCNA) and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or related field (desired).
