Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mainframe Security specialist to lead our team's security initiatives. As a Security Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of our mainframe systems.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Establishing and enforcing access controls to protect system resources
  • Developing documentation to support process and procedural compliance
  • Driving process improvement through data-driven analysis and recommendations
  • Managing SSL Certificates within the Mainframe environment
  • Completing regular security audits and assessments
  • Configuring ACF2/RACF applications and agency-level access control to meet business requirements
  • Providing expert guidance and problem management support for the platform team
  • Participating in security audits and risk assessments

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 2+ years' experience in Cyber Security
  • Minimum of 5+ years' experience in Mainframe security
  • Strong knowledge in ACF2/RACF security Architecture
  • Solid understanding of industry best practices for security
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies

Required Skills:

Security Experience: We require candidates with hands-on experience in security-related tasks, including vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and incident response.

Technical Expertise: Our ideal candidate has strong technical skills in Mainframe security, including ACF2/RACF, as well as a solid understanding of network protocols and architecture.

Soft Skills: We value candidates who possess excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
